This role is seeking a flexible and experienced Systems Specialist to manage and support complex WLAN networks for large enterprise customers, focusing on Cisco and Extreme products. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading project tasks such as installation, configuration, upgrades, and migration of network systems, performing Wireless LAN Site Surveys, and comprehensive network documentation. The specialist will also be responsible for troubleshooting routing and switching components, managing vendor cases (Cisco, Extreme), and participating in on-call duty. Key qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or comparable training, profound knowledge of WLAN, TCP/IP, routing protocols, and security mechanisms, ideally complemented by CCNA or CCNP Wireless certification.
