Job Summary

This role involves providing essential IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) services for end-user devices within the commercial vehicle division of a major automotive manufacturer in Salzgitter. The IMAC Technician will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of IT hardware, including installing and setting up PCs, notebooks, and monitors directly at the customer's workplace, performing basic software installations, and managing the local hardware inventory. Daily tasks include troubleshooting errors, coordinating hardware transport, managing the return of old devices, and meticulous documentation within the ticket system. This position is ideal for flexible individuals, including career changers with initial IT experience, who possess good German and sufficient English skills, and hold a Class B driver's license.
