Job Summary

This role seeks a Junior System Administrator to actively support the IT department of a translation services company in Geisenhausen, Lower Bavaria. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily monitoring and administration of Microsoft and Linux server environments, managing virtualization platforms using VMware and Citrix, and handling data services across both Windows and Linux systems. Key responsibilities also include providing 1st and 2nd Level IT support to staff and assisting with IT security and overall infrastructure maintenance, expansion, and upkeep. The ideal candidate holds a relevant IT qualification, possesses good knowledge of Windows Server 2016, Windows 10, Office 365, and networking concepts (LAN, WAN, Firewall), with Linux experience being advantageous. This position offers a full-time, permanent contract with flexible working hours and the option for home office work, providing a secure role within an established company.
