Job Summary
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a qualified Laboratory Technician, such as an MTA, BTA, or PTA, to join the pharmaceutical industry in Berlin. The successful candidate will primarily focus on environmental monitoring and microbiological testing. Day-to-day tasks include executing and evaluating environmental monitoring procedures, meticulously documenting results in compliance with GMP standards, and inputting data into a LIMS database. Additionally, the role involves preparing and checking culture media, alongside general laboratory duties like sorting, cleaning, and sterilization. Ideal candidates will possess prior experience in pharmaceutical microbiology and knowledge of aseptic techniques, demonstrating strong teamwork, resilience, and customer orientation to ensure high-quality, compliant laboratory operations.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Medical Technical Assistant (MTA), Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), Pharmaceutical Technical Assistant (PTA), Physical Technical Assistant, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Several years of experience in pharmaceutical microbiology (Ideally)
- Knowledge of Asepsis in Environmental Monitoring (Ideally)
- Professional experience with GMP-compliant documentation
