Job Summary

This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced professional to head the Automation Department at a leading robotics and automation technology firm in Ottendorf-Okrilla. The role involves managing and coordinating automation projects, prioritizing tasks, resources, and team development while driving the optimization of planning and development processes to enhance efficiency and quality. Key responsibilities include providing technical and specialized leadership in the design, development, and specification of electrical control, measurement, and automation systems for complex mechatronic installations. The ideal candidate will ensure technical excellence by reviewing documentation and adhering to quality standards, while actively contributing to technological innovation through continuous learning in R&D. Qualifications include a degree or equivalent in Electrical or Automation Engineering, several years of relevant professional experience, expertise with CAD/planning tools like EPLAN, and experience leading small teams (5-7 members). Strong German skills are required, with good English skills being beneficial.
