Job Summary
This role seeks an ambitious Master Electrician in Operational Technology to take responsibility for complex infrastructure projects, primarily within a food production environment. Day-to-day tasks include ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems, coordinating maintenance, troubleshooting production-critical equipment, and acting as the key technical interface between production, internal technical teams, and external service providers. The ideal candidate will possess a completed education in electrical engineering, further qualification as a Master Electrician, and fundamental experience in the maintenance and fault analysis of industrial plants. Furthermore, the role involves leading a technical team, managing external contractors, and actively participating in the training of junior electricians, making it a pivotal position for driving technical excellence and process improvement.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering or comparable field, coupled with further qualification as a Master Electrician (Meister) or similar qualification
Experience
- Fundamental experience in maintenance and fault analysis of industrial plants
- Experience working in a food technology environment (ideal)
- Professional experience with production processes and supply systems
