Job Summary
This role involves coordinating and steering critical IT service management functions within the Joint Data Center of the German Pension Insurance (DRV), which operates the IT infrastructure for all pension insurance providers in Germany. Day-to-day tasks include managing requirement coordination, defining and monitoring Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and acting as the primary contact for customer inquiries (contractual, technical, and content-related). The manager will also conduct feasibility analyses, economic assessments for customer requirements, and contribute to the data center's product portfolio development and strategy. Key requirements include professional experience in IT Service or Account Management, knowledge of project management methods, and a relevant university degree or equivalent qualification in IT or economics. Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed university degree (Bachelor/FH Diploma) with a focus on IT or economics, or an equivalent qualification. Alternatively, a successfully completed commercial, office, administrative, or IT-oriented vocational training.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in IT Service Management or IT Account Management
- Knowledge in project management methods
- Understanding of IT infrastructure within a data center (ideal)
- ITIL Foundation certification (advantageous)
- IREB certification (advantageous)
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to undergo potential security checks required for working in critical infrastructure (KRITIS). Willingness to undertake occasional business trips and participate in training/events outside of the Berlin or Würzburg locations. Must demonstrate high reliability and integrity due to the sensitive nature of the position.
