Job Summary

This role involves providing critical 2nd-level IT support at the Bundeswehr Hospital in Berlin, focusing on resolving complex incidents and problems escalated from 1st-level support. The specialist will handle documentation, analysis, and resolution of issues related to standard applications, Office, Outlook, Windows, and various specialized medical products, some of which fall under medical device law. Key responsibilities include infrastructure and specialized application administration, such as setting up user profiles, managing group policy permissions, evaluating error logs, and executing IT security infrastructure projects. The position also requires coordinating and overseeing external service providers, managing hardware/software procurement, and performing server, network, and time-tracking system monitoring. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an attractive salary based on the TVöD public service collective agreement, flexible working hours, and the possibility of remote work, making it a stable and rewarding opportunity within the public sector.

Education

Certified IT Specialist, specializing in System Integration or Digital Networking

Experience

  • At least two years of professional experience in IT system administration/integration

  • Experience with continuous certified further training on system updates (e.g., operating system changes) (Desired)
