The primary responsibility involves securing, analyzing, and processing digital evidence from computer and mobile systems, ensuring all documentation is admissible in court. Key tasks include providing technical investigative support to public prosecutors and police, conducting internet research, representing findings in court, and contributing to police training programs. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and possesses deep knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix), network components, and forensic software like Encase or X-Ways Forensics.
