Job Summary

Heliatek GmbH is seeking a dedicated Material Development Engineer to join their team in Dresden, focusing on sustainable, flexible solar film technology. This role is crucial for transitioning innovative materials into industrial-scale production using a unique roll-to-roll manufacturing process. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading the selection, development, and qualification of components, adhesives, and film systems for flexible solar modules. The engineer will also be responsible for continuous material improvement, supporting process engineers on production lines, and providing technical consultation to procurement regarding suppliers. The ideal candidate holds a technical degree in Material Sciences or Chemical Engineering, possesses expertise in polymer or adhesive systems, and has strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and improve processing procedures. Excellent German and English communication skills are essential to succeed in this pioneering environment.
