Job Summary

This role involves specialized software engineering for control systems within custom machine manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating programs for automation systems using Siemens PLC controllers, specifically Simatic S7 and TIA Portal (using KOP and SCL), and developing machine visualizations on Siemens operator panels (TP Series). Key day-to-day tasks include internal acceptance testing of systems and supporting commissioning activities at customer sites globally. Qualifications require a technical degree or equivalent in automation, control, or regulation technology, coupled with strong foundational knowledge in Simatic S7 and TIA Portal programming. Professional experience in special machine construction and basic EPLAN 8 knowledge are beneficial.
