Job Summary

This role involves coordinating and supervising laboratory operations and student internships within the Faculty of Agriculture, Food, and Nutrition at HSWT. Key daily activities include preparing and supervising practical courses in Chemistry, Food Chemistry, and Instrumental Analysis, specifically utilizing techniques like HPLC, MS, GC, AES, and AAS. The Coordinator is responsible for comprehensive lab organization, encompassing ordering supplies, equipment maintenance, ensuring occupational safety, and managing hazardous waste disposal. Furthermore, the position supports food product development initiatives and supervises student projects and Bachelor's theses. Candidates must possess a relevant university degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in Chemistry, Food Technology, or a related scientific field, coupled with strong organizational skills, proficiency in MS Office, and specialized instrument control software. This is a part-time role (20 hours/week), initially contractually limited until June 30, 2026, with planned extension for parental leave coverage.
