Job Summary

This role involves taking ownership of the end-to-end production planning process for pharmaceutical semi-finished and finished products. The core responsibilities include creating and continually adjusting detailed production schedules based on current market demands and capacity constraints, while proactively monitoring material supply to ensure smooth operations. A key focus is coordinating the entire production flow, from order entry through to shipping, to guarantee reliable patient supply. The planner will lead global and local planning meetings, ensuring alignment with critical departments like Global Supply Planning, Manufacturing, QA, and QC, and contribute to GxP deviation and change processes. Ideal candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or extensive vocational experience, combined with at least two years of experience in pharmaceutical production or planning, and proficiency in SAP S/4HANA. The position requires an analytical, solution-oriented approach and strong coordination skills to manage complex processes.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science; or relevant vocational training (e.g., Pharmacy, Technology, Logistics)

Experience

  • At least 2 years in pharmaceutical production or production planning
  • 5 years in production planning or manufacturing (required if qualifying via relevant vocational training)
