Job Summary

This role as a Specialist in Liquidity Management and Payment Transactions at the University of Göttingen involves managing the institution's financial flows, focusing heavily on executing national and international payment transactions. Day-to-day responsibilities include acting as the primary contact person for payment queries, utilizing specialized Electronic-Banking software (S-Firm) and the SAP FI module for daily operations, and actively contributing to the optimization and digitalization of cashless payment systems. You will also engage in correspondence and coordination with various banks and savings institutions while supporting broader liquidity and asset management initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses current professional experience in domestic and foreign payment processing and holds relevant vocational training or a specialized university degree. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Administrative Clerk or Angestelltenlehrgang I, OR completed 3-year commercial/business training, OR completed specialized higher education. Additional qualification as a Financial Accountant is advantageous.

Experience

  • Current professional experience in domestic and foreign payment transactions
  • Typically 3 years of relevant professional experience (required if educational background is non-specialized)
  • Typically 1 year of relevant professional experience (required if educational background is specialized higher education)
  • Practical experience in commercial bookkeeping (advantageous)
