This role involves working as an Electrical Engineering Control Center Engineer focusing on high-voltage systems (110 kV and 30 kV) for Germany's largest distribution network operator, Westnetz, playing a critical part in the energy transition. Day-to-day responsibilities include independently monitoring and managing complex high- and medium-voltage networks, coordinating switching operations for maintenance and construction, and autonomously managing responses during network faults, including dispatching internal and external teams. The engineer will ensure a secure power supply despite changing load flows due to decentralized renewable energy integration.
