Job Summary

This role involves taking charge of hardware design for vacuum technology systems, utilizing modern Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools, specifically Zuken E³. The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for planning and designing electrical systems, including selecting appropriate automation components, sensors, and electrical drives. A core function is analyzing technical requirements for hardware and control systems to ensure proper electrotechnical implementation. Key qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology (or equivalent technical college education/Technician certification with relevant experience) and practical experience in electrical design using CAD software, ideally Zuken E³. The successful candidate will also contribute to creating and maintaining technical documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant norms and guidelines (e.g., EN, UL), and collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams. Strong technical understanding and proficiency in both German and English are required for this challenging position.
