Job Summary

This role is ideal for a (Junior) Laboratory Technician specializing in Microbiology within the pharmaceutical and life science sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting microbiological purity testing on active ingredients, raw materials, intermediate, and finished products, as well as microbiological potency determination of antibiotics and finished medicinal products. The technician will also be involved in preparing and qualifying culture media, qualifying lab equipment, and assisting with the validation/transfer of microbiological methods. Key qualifications include a background as a Biology Laboratory Technician, BTA, MTA, or equivalent, with experience in a GMP-regulated environment being essential. Good IT, English, and German skills are required.
