Job Summary

This role involves leading the technical aspects of central Event Management systems, specifically utilizing IBM Netcool Omnibus, within one of Germany's largest and most complex IT infrastructures serving the Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). The Lead System Engineer will analyze, evaluate, and implement complex technical requirements for event management across diverse IT architectures. Key responsibilities include conceptualizing, developing, and managing reusable interfaces, data flows, and content within a heterogeneous system landscape, with a strong focus on automation and IT Security Compliance. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science, at least seven years of relevant professional experience, and extensive expertise in Linux, scripting (bash, perl, Python), and SQL. Fluency in German and proficiency in English are mandatory for success in this challenging and socially relevant digitalization project.
