Job Summary

This role as a Materials Tester involves performing critical mechanical and metallographic materials and surface testing for a globally successful company in the aviation technology sector. Day-to-day responsibilities include selecting appropriate testing procedures, conducting first article inspections, auditing existing test processes, and creating comprehensive test, investigation, and approval reports complete with digital documentation. You will also be responsible for procuring and reviewing test plans and drawing documentation, and providing training and instruction to colleagues. The ideal candidate must possess a completed three-year vocational training as a Materials Tester or equivalent technical qualification, coupled with practical experience in metallography and mechanical testing.
