Job Summary
Join the University Hospital Bonn's Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Clinic as an MRI Physicist, focusing on clinical sequence development and quantitative MRI methods. This full-time, fixed-term role (5 years) involves close interdisciplinary collaboration to advance modern MRI techniques. Day-to-day responsibilities include optimizing and initiating new methods such as quantitative MRI (Mapping, Stress Perfusion, MR Fingerprinting), Diffusion MRI, and fast, AI-supported MRI procedures. You will also implement new techniques for interventional MRI, develop quantitative image analysis tools, and contribute to scientific publications and grant applications. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Physics or Medical Physics, possesses expertise in MRI physics/imaging, and has an interest in programming (MatLab/Python/C/C++). This position offers a highly modern clinical and scientific environment, excellent research infrastructure, and opportunities for further academic qualification (e.g., PhD or Habilitation).
