Job Summary

This role is ideal for a MINT graduate ready to dive into the specialized field of hydroacoustic systems design within a leading marine technology company. As a Hydroacoustic Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing customer requirements and developing innovative solution concepts for sonar transducers. Following an intensive onboarding and mentoring phase, your day-to-day tasks will involve designing sonar transducers, validating their properties using numerical models like Finite Element Method (FEM), and developing new design methodologies. A critical part of the job is identifying and evaluating the acoustic, structural-mechanical, and fluid-mechanical interactions of your solutions. You must possess strong knowledge of technical acoustics and mechanics, excellent presentation skills, and a structured, creative approach to problem-solving. This is a fixed-term position until September 30, 2027, offering exciting work on innovative products in an international, high-tech environment.
