Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated IT Field Service Technician for a continuously expanding IT consulting firm specializing in Information and Communication Technology services in Düsseldorf. The position, initially offered via temporary employment with the option for permanent takeover, focuses on providing essential on-site IT support. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing data backups, managing the PC inventory, installing operating systems and various application programs, and handling the assembly and disassembly of both new and used hardware. A critical component of the job is delivering standard IMAC services (Install, Move, Add, Change). The ideal candidate must possess a completed IT sector qualification (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration or IT Systems Electronics Technician) or equivalent professional experience, combined with strong knowledge of hardware, peripherals, and standard Microsoft operating systems.
