Job Summary

The Agency for Innovation in Cybersecurity (Cyberagentur) is seeking a dedicated IT Administrator with a focus on IT Security to join their team in Halle (Saale). This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing the agency's secure IT infrastructure, which supports cutting-edge research in areas like cryptology and secure communication. Day-to-day responsibilities include structured problem analysis, troubleshooting, configuring and maintaining systems, and providing first-level user support. A significant part of the role involves contributing to the implementation of IT baseline protection (BSI IT-Grundschutz), managing the local firewall environment, and assisting with the setup and operation of SIEM systems and Exchange Clusters. Candidates must possess a high degree of security awareness, a relevant degree or equivalent qualification, and at least five years of professional experience in IT/Informatics.
