Job Summary

This role involves working as an IT Specialist and Configuration Manager within the Federal Office for Military Counterintelligence (MAD) in Cologne, one of Germany's federal intelligence services. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuration management, such as maintaining and evaluating product libraries, updating product configurations, and managing access permissions. The specialist will also be responsible for drafting and processing project regulations, writing reports, and performing quality assurance, including assessments and decision proposals. A key part of the role is contributing to the overall IT concept. The position requires a relevant Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering, a commitment to democratic principles, and mandatory participation in an extended security clearance process (Ü3). Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent Diploma [FH]) in Computer Science, Technical Informatics, Business Informatics, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (specializing in Communications, Information, and Communication Technology); or an equivalent degree with an IT focus.
