Job Summary

This 4-year, full-time Postdoctoral Researcher position at the University of Marburg is funded by the prestigious ERC Synergy grant CARAMEL, focusing on developing cutting-edge methods for delivering biotherapeutics into cancer cells. The core challenge involves creating self-delivering peptide and protein hybrids using superchaotropic boron clusters. The role requires the independent planning, implementation, and evaluation of complex experiments, including the production of recombinant model proteins and the development of quantitative cellular transport assays. The successful candidate will actively communicate research findings through publications and conference presentations, and collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary, international consortium spanning Germany, Spain, and Switzerland. Candidates must hold a PhD in a life science, chemical, medical, or pharmaceutical field, possess documented research productivity (at least one first-author publication), and demonstrate sound laboratory expertise in areas such as protein biochemistry and molecular biology.
