Job Summary

This part-time (50%), fixed-term role, running until the end of 2029, seeks a highly organized professional to coordinate the SFB/TRR 425 research consortium, focusing on Desmosomal Dysfunction in Epithelial Barriers. The successful candidate will serve as the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, working closely with university administration and the DFG (German Research Foundation). Key responsibilities include providing administrative support to the spokesperson, implementing steering committee decisions, and managing logistics such as organizing scientific meetings and maintaining the consortium's website and public relations. You will also be crucial in establishing new organizational structures to ensure effective interaction among the three collaborating sites (Marburg, Munich, Würzburg) and assisting with budget coordination. This position is ideal for someone with a Master's degree in Life Sciences who possesses experience in science management and is looking to gain valuable expertise in a large, multidisciplinary, international research environment.

Required Skills

Completed scientific university degree (Diploma, Master, or comparable) in Life Sciences or a related field.
