This is a full-time, fixed-term Project Engineer role in Verden, Germany, focused on electrical engineering within the Federal Waterways and Shipping Administration. The successful candidate will act on the client side, assisting with the planning and execution of renovations and modernizations, primarily focusing on energy, plant, and control technology to ensure compliance with relevant standards for traffic infrastructure. Key responsibilities include preparing technical reports and drafts for electrical maintenance, managing the procurement and execution of electrical/control technology contracts, and overseeing documentation and billing for construction measures. The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, professional experience in the field, and a high degree of self-reliance, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, often involving site inspections and regular business travel within the WSA Weser area.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (FH Diploma, Bachelor, or Master) in Electrical Engineering or comparable field

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering
  • Experience in public procurement and contract law (VOB, VgV, UVgO, GWB, HOAI) (Desirable)
  • Experience with PLC technology and drive technology (Desirable)
