Job Summary

This role is focused on the operation and strategic development of secure, highly available, on-premise Kubernetes environments within the Operational Technology (OT) process network platform for Westnetz, Germany's largest distribution network operator. The specialist will be responsible for planning and implementing robust system infrastructures and exploring new applications for container technologies, independent of application development. Key responsibilities include representing the company's interests in high-level committees and driving optimization of internal processes. Key requirements include a degree in IT or a related field, deep technical expertise in Kubernetes architecture, security, and troubleshooting (including components like Kubelet and CNI/CSI), advanced Linux CLI skills, and experience with automation tools like Ansible.
