Job Summary

This role is crucial for ensuring the correct, economical, and technically optimal software licensing within BWI GmbH, a primary digitalization partner for the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). The Analyst will be responsible for the operational execution of the entire software procurement lifecycle. Key daily duties include initiating software purchases using SAP, managing goods receipt bookings for licenses, and serving as the primary communicator between internal and external customers to translate software needs into actionable procurement processes. The position also requires generating detailed reports (e.g., from SAP) on procurement status and proactively driving process improvement initiatives in collaboration with Service, Architecture, and Process Managers. To succeed, candidates must possess a relevant degree in Business Administration or Informatics, coupled with at least two years of experience, and excellent functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (SRM, MM, FI/CO), along with foundational understanding of software license management concepts.
