Job Summary

This role involves managing and continuously developing the knowledge and learning platforms for the Kommunale Versorgungskassen Westfalen-Lippe (kvw). The manager will be responsible for defining and implementing the knowledge and learning management strategy, including the selection, technical implementation, and ongoing operation (Product Ownership) of a suitable Learning Management System (LMS), such as Moodle or ILIAS. Key daily tasks include analyzing organizational needs, coordinating the platform introduction project with IT and various departments, structuring learning paths and knowledge databases, and providing training and consultation to internal and external users. The ideal candidate holds a degree in fields like Business Informatics or Media Education, possesses extensive experience in knowledge management, project management (including agile contexts), and process modeling (BPMN 2.0), coupled with strong analytical skills and digital affinity.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university or technical college degree (Diploma/Bachelor) in fields such as Business Informatics, Business Administration, Administrative/Organizational Economics, Communication Studies, Media Education, or a comparable course of study; alternatively, equivalent abilities demonstrated through long-term professional activity (e.g., vocational training as IT Specialist or IT Management Assistant with long-term relevant experience).

Experience

  • Long-term professional experience in knowledge management and learning management systems
  • Experience with digital learning platforms and learning technologies
  • Experience in project participation and project management, ideally in agile contexts
  • Basic knowledge of methods and standards in process modeling and initial experience with BPMN 2.0
