Job Summary

This role involves taking responsibility for the software project planning and implementation of machinery within the mechanical engineering sector. The successful candidate will primarily program visualization, control, and drive systems using the TIA Portal, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. Key daily tasks include conducting both hardware and software commissioning of machines in-house and supporting the sales and service departments with technical inquiries. Furthermore, the role involves participating in retrofit projects to integrate new machine components at client sites. Candidates must possess a strong electrical engineering background, preferably with further qualification as a Technician or Master Craftsman, coupled with solid professional experience in PLC programming, ideally using TIA Portal and possessing knowledge of drive technology. Good analytical skills, independence, and proficiency in English are essential for success.
