Job Summary

This role involves supporting quality assurance within a leading European manufacturer of optical glass fibers used in modern data centers. The Fiber Measurement Technician will be responsible for the daily operation of measurement equipment, including loading fiber spools, conducting through-put tests, and documenting all measured values and division orders. Key responsibilities also include performing visual final inspections of fibers according to specifications, pre-packaging the finished products, and ensuring the cleanliness and proper function of the measurement devices, reporting or resolving minor faults as needed. Candidates must possess technical understanding, manual dexterity, basic IT skills, and a willingness to work in a 3-shift system. Prior experience in quality assurance is advantageous, and secure German language skills (written and spoken) are required for effective documentation and communication within the team.
