Job Summary
This role involves maintaining and optimizing critical non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment, specifically focusing on ultrasonic and eddy current testing systems, within a leading precision steel tube manufacturer. The technician will be responsible for repairing electrical and electronic computer-aided systems, optimizing program sequences, and programming automation systems using SIMATIC and Mitsubishi platforms. A core part of the job includes modifying, planning, and creating hardware documentation, as well as servicing and repairing measurement and control systems. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as an Electronics Technician or Electrical Engineer/Technician in automation or measurement and control technology, possesses strong programming skills in SIMATIC S7/S5, and has professional experience in the metal processing industry and maintenance, coupled with the required switching authorization for medium and high-voltage systems.
Required Skills
Education
Vocational training as an Electronics Technician or Power Plant Electronics Technician, and further qualification as an Electrical Engineer / Electrical Technician in Automation Technology or Measurement and Control Technology, or comparable qualification.
