Day-to-day responsibilities involve supporting experienced Patent Attorneys, drafting patent applications in consultation with inventors, and formulating opinions on the success prospects of applications based on search reports and examination decisions. The candidate will also participate in oral hearings and assist with opposition and appeal proceedings before the German Patent and Trademark Office and the European Patent Office. Key qualifications include a very good university degree, potentially a doctorate, in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or IT, coupled with initial professional experience in a technical field.
