Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Technical Writer to join a rapidly growing high-tech and IT company specializing in mission-critical communication systems for civil and military sectors. The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing technical product and system documentation for both hardware and software products, including user guides, admin guides, and conceptual content. Key responsibilities involve analyzing technical requirements from Jira tickets and specifications, ensuring documentation is consistent, target-group appropriate, and technically accurate through close collaboration with development, testing, and product management teams. The ideal candidate must possess several years of professional experience in technical writing, ideally within a software or IT environment, and strong skills in component-based authoring tools, collaboration tools (like Jira and Confluence), and graphic illustration tools. The position offers remote work flexibility across several German locations (Heimertingen, Gilching, Koblenz, or Berlin) and a challenging, self-directed role with opportunities for professional development.
