Job Summary
This role seeks a dedicated Engineer to analyze, optimize, and actively develop production processes to significantly enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality. Day-to-day responsibilities involve identifying and implementing technical improvements on machinery, developing automation concepts in collaboration with internal and external partners, and managing optimization projects from planning through implementation. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Technology, or a relevant technical background combined with further training, and possess several years of experience in production optimization or automation. Success in this position requires a hands-on approach, strong problem-solving skills, excellent technical understanding, and the ability to effectively train production staff on new procedures and technical solutions, ensuring compliance with strict quality standards.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, or comparable field, or a completed technical apprenticeship (e.g., Industrial Mechanic, Mechatronics Technician) with further professional qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in a production environment
- Experience in process/production optimization or automation
- Experience in applying Lean Management, KVP, or similar methodologies
