Job Summary

This role involves executing essential routine diagnostics within the clinical bacteriology department, focusing on sample processing, analysis, and reporting. Day-to-day tasks include order entry, manual and automated sample preparation, conducting specialized diagnostics (including Varia, STD, Urine, Stool, and Fungal analysis), and operating sophisticated automated systems for germ identification and resistance testing. A core responsibility is ensuring quality through internal and external controls and generating accurate findings. Candidates must possess a recognized BTA certification or a degree in a relevant life science field (e.g., Microbiology, Bioanalytical Chemistry). While prior experience in microbiology is beneficial, motivated entry-level professionals are also encouraged to apply.
