As a Molecular Biologist within the Pathology department, you will play a critical role in modern medical diagnostics by ensuring precise tissue and cell sample examinations. Your daily responsibilities involve establishing and implementing new diagnostic methods, planning innovative Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) analyses, and interpreting complex molecular data to identify clinically relevant variants. You will be responsible for creating clear clinical reports, maintaining quality management standards (including SOPs and validations), and providing technical guidance to laboratory staff. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related natural science field.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the diagnostic environment of molecular pathology
  • Extensive experience in molecular pathological methods, specifically NGS and data analysis
  • Proven experience in clinical reporting and the interpretation of clinically relevant variants
  • Initial experience in motivating and developing a team is preferred
  • Experience in interdisciplinary cooperation and communication with medical professionals
