Job Summary

This position seeks a dedicated Research Associate in Building Materials Science to join the Institute for Applied Research (IAF) on a part-time (50%) and temporary basis until May 2028. The core responsibilities involve conducting detailed chemical-physical analyses to characterize pyrolysis products, assessing the potential environmental impact of organic by-products, and developing structural models for BioCement components. You will also be responsible for developing and characterizing new mineral material systems. Ideal candidates must hold a degree in Chemistry or Materials Science and possess extensive experience in advanced material analytics (including XRD, ESEM, IR, TG). Crucially, the role requires fluent English, as it is the primary project language, alongside proven experience managing international scientific projects.
