Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Research and Development Engineer specializing in Polymer Materials to join a leading global provider of flexible composite materials in Krefeld, Germany. The successful candidate will be pivotal in developing and testing new functional polymeric or mineral yarns and managing the fabric assortment used across the composite portfolio. Day-to-day tasks involve defining functional and technical specifications for new products, managing pilot and industrial trials across coating and weaving sites, and coordinating complex projects with various stakeholders, including R&D, Marketing, and Production teams across different international locations (especially France and Germany). This position requires a Master's degree in Polymer Materials, textile knowledge, and several years of relevant industrial experience, offering an opportunity to contribute directly to the industrialization and production launch of innovative technical composite materials.
