Job Summary

This role is for a Research and Development Engineer specializing in Polymer Materials, joining the VERSEIDAG-INDUTEX GmbH, part of the international Serge-Ferrari Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and testing of new functional polymeric or mineral yarns. Key day-to-day tasks include managing the fabric assortment used in the composite portfolio, defining functional and technical specifications for new products (considering cost, quality, and industrial constraints), and initiating and conducting trials on pilot and industrial coating and weaving plants. This position requires strong coordination skills, working closely with R&D, Marketing, Quality, and Production teams across various international sites, particularly in France and Germany. A Master's degree in Polymer Materials or a related field, combined with textile knowledge and several years of industrial experience, is essential for success in this demanding, full-time position.
