Job Summary

The Deutsche Bahn is seeking a (Junior) Project Engineer specializing in Railway Infrastructure, focusing on signaling, telecommunications, and electrical systems, to join their DB InfraGO AG division in Würzburg. This role involves comprehensive project management across all service phases according to HOAI (German Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers), ensuring timely execution of planning, tendering, and contracting processes for various infrastructure measures. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing budgets and schedules, preparing tender documents, securing necessary permits, and coordinating closely with internal project teams, regulatory bodies (like the EBA), external engineering firms, and construction companies. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Communication Technology, or possesses equivalent long-term professional experience. Prior experience in project management for infrastructure projects is beneficial, alongside knowledge of control and safety technology or railway power supply systems.
