Job Summary

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Ulm with DB Regio AG, focusing on the leadership and management of a dedicated maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical and disciplinary guidance of staff, including recruitment and development, ensuring all maintenance tasks are executed according to technical, economic, and scheduling guidelines. Key duties involve comprehensive resource planning and control—covering qualified personnel, infrastructure, materials, and tools—and meticulous documentation of all work. You will also guarantee compliance with safety standards by conducting necessary training and instruction in occupational and environmental protection. To qualify, you must possess a completed technical apprenticeship (e.g., Electrician or Mechatronics technician) paired with an advanced qualification such as a Master Craftsman or Certified Technician (or the readiness to obtain one promptly). The role requires initial leadership experience, strong communication, and an entrepreneurial approach to drive team motivation and operational excellence.
