Job Summary

This critical role within the Future Technologies group focuses on the technical engineering aspects of securing and expanding vital gas concessions. The engineer will be responsible for developing comprehensive network management concepts, meticulously reviewing, processing, and approving technical concession contents, including contractual and procedural documents. A significant part of the job involves ensuring operational compliance by auditing mobile units, operating sites, and partner firms regarding staffing, qualifications, occupational safety, and emergency response planning. Furthermore, the role acts as the company's local representative, actively engaging in relationship management with local municipalities (Kommunen) and attending community events. Candidates must combine a background in energy or supply engineering with practical experience in network operations, commercial contract fundamentals, and the ability to manage complex operational projects within the gas network, while also participating in the on-call service rotation.

Required Skills

Education

Completed engineering degree in Energy Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Supply Technology, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Practical experience in network operation, ideally in the gas sector
  • Experience combining technical expertise with commercial fundamentals in contract management
  • Experience working with complex technical contract contents, such as concession agreements
