Job Summary

This role is pivotal in shaping the future of grid operations and the energy transition by ensuring the implementation and development of electrical engineering standards and regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating DIN and VDE regulations and 'lessons learned' into 50Hertz internal standards, and for designing and conducting essential training for qualified electrical workers and plant managers. Key responsibilities also include leading the further development of the Grid Control and Grid Operation Guideline (NNÜ), representing the company in standardization bodies (like DKE), and contributing to medium-term outage planning. This position requires a strong background in electrical or energy engineering, extensive professional experience in grid operations, and expert knowledge of DIN/VDE standards and operational safety, making it a strategic and technically demanding role in a leading energy transmission company.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or comparable field. Completed vocational training with an electrical engineering focus (advantageous).

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in grid operations
  • Several years in the application of norms and regulations
  • Several years in the training of specialized personnel
  • Experience in project implementation with BIM systems (advantageous)
  • Experience in the SAP environment, especially SAP-PM (advantageous)
  • Experience as an operational engineer at infrastructure facility operators (advantageous)
