Job Summary

This critical position involves overseeing and managing construction and assembly activities within the high-voltage cable network, ensuring projects are executed smoothly, on time, and in compliance with technical standards and safety regulations. Day-to-day tasks include planning and projecting small-scale high-voltage cable projects, actively contributing technical expertise to line and substation projects, and acting as the site authority (Anlagenverantwortung). A crucial component of the role is fault resolution, where the technician must make necessary on-site decisions to ensure rapid restoration of network operations. The ideal candidate possesses a completed advanced qualification as a Master Craftsman or Technician in Electrical Engineering, ideally coupled with several years of professional experience in cable systems. Success requires structured organizational skills, reliability under pressure, teamwork, proficiency in MS Office, and the willingness to participate in an on-call rotation to support Hamburg's vital energy infrastructure.
