Job Summary

This critical engineering role focuses on the planning, expansion, renewal, and optimization of the Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) network infrastructure, primarily in Hamburg. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying potential measures to eliminate bottlenecks, implementing replacement concepts for operating resources, and developing detailed operational concepts for connecting new grid and customer systems. A significant part of the role involves performing complex network compatibility tests and technical calculations, such as short-circuit data, starting currents, network flicker, and voltage drops, to ensure grid stability and compliance with operator requirements. The ideal candidate must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, possess solid practical and theoretical knowledge of distribution networks, and be proficient in relevant electrical engineering standards. Success requires strong communication skills, diplomatic assertiveness, and the ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
