Job Summary

This is a leadership opportunity to head and strategically develop the Medical Controlling and Coding functions within a healthcare setting. The Head of Healthcare Controlling will be responsible for optimizing existing processes, establishing and maintaining robust MD (Medical Service) Management, and conducting internal controlling of MD audits. A core function involves the analysis of processes within the DRG (Diagnosis Related Groups) and PEPP (Psychiatry and Psychosomatics Per-Case Flat Rate) areas, providing strategic consultation to hospital leadership, and training clinics on documentation standards. The ideal candidate must hold a degree in Business Administration focused on Healthcare or an equivalent qualification, coupled with deep knowledge of hospital billing systems, their legal foundations, and proficiency in modern IT, specifically Hospital Information Systems (KIS).
