Job Summary

This leadership role involves taking charge of and advancing the medical controlling and coding departments within a healthcare setting. The Head of Controlling will be responsible for optimizing current processes, establishing and maintaining Medical Service (MD) management, and performing internal controlling of MD audits. Key daily activities include analyzing processes within the Diagnosis-Related Group (DRG) and Psychiatric and Psychosomatic Care (PEPP) systems, providing strategic advice to hospital management, and training clinical staff on documentation best practices. Ideal candidates must possess a degree in Business Administration specializing in Healthcare or a comparable qualification, coupled with expertise in hospital billing systems, relevant legal foundations, and MD management.
