CFD Simulation Engineer | CFD-Simulationsingenieur (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves acting as a CFD Simulation Engineer, primarily focusing on vehicle cooling systems and thermal conditioning to enhance overall performance. Key responsibilities include preparing CFD-ready meshes from CAD data for 1D simulation using tools like GT Suite (GEM3D), optimizing assemblies based on simulation and test results to improve the efficiency and lifespan of the cooling system, and supporting component validation through simulation. The role requires strong coordination between simulation, testing, and design teams. Candidates must hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Energy Technology, ideally with a focus on Electromobility or Mechatronics, coupled with deep knowledge of thermodynamic process calculation and practical experience in 1D-CFD using common processors, preferably GT Suite. Good German language skills (B2+) and advanced English skills are essential for international collaboration.
